About Us

Macy, the proud owner of The Bump Ultrasound, is a registered ultrasound tech. She has 11+ years of experience in OB ultrasound, and works locally serving the South Bend and surrounding areas. Outside of The Bump, Macy’s passions are spending time with her family and friends, her fur babies, and she’s a diehard Atlanta Braves fan.

Courtney is a registered ultrasound tech with 4+ years of experience coming from a very busy, local OBGYN office. Courtney is a mother to three kiddos and three fur-babies, and enjoys her time with her family!

Macy and Courtney have 15+ years of combined experience in OB ultrasound, and we can assure you that you won’t find a higher standard of quality, accuracy, and comfort.

Our studio is newly remodeled, with comfortable seating for you and your guests! The spacious ultrasound room has seating for up to 9 guests and has a big screen TV for viewing baby during the visit. Children are more than welcome to come along. Our studio offers a “Boutique” experience with lots of gift options for expecting families.

In addition to gender testing, we offer an array of ultrasound packages tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This also has the ability to determine gender as early as 15 weeks. Whether you’re interested in traditional 2D imaging or the more advanced 3D, 4D, and HD live ultrasounds, we have something for everyone. Our 8K digital photo editing service ensures that your ultrasound images are beautifully enhanced, making them perfect for sharing with family and friends. We also provide fetal dopplers for DVD-recorded sessions, allowing you to take home a keepsake that captures your baby’s heartbeat, along with heartbeat-stuffed animals that bring a tangible connection to your little one.

Moreover, we understand that celebrations are an essential part of the journey into parenthood. That’s why we offer gender reveal goodie bags and supplies, ensuring that your announcement is both fun and memorable.

Two of my OBGYN appointments were unexpectedly canceled — first for my 12-week ultrasound and then again for my gender blood test — and both times Macy stepped in and made sure I was taken care of. One time she literally squeezed me in the same day within 15 minutes of calling. That kind of responsiveness and compassion is rare. Macy goes completely above and beyond for new moms and made what could have been a stressful situation feel easy and supported. Courtney is also an incredibly talented ultrasound tech. She got us the most amazing pictures and made the whole experience so special. You can tell she is truly skilled at what she does and cares about the families she’s working with. Both of them are beyond excellent and such a huge asset to the community. In a time when medicine is increasingly corporatized and impersonal, it’s refreshing and reassuring to find people who are clearly devoted to providing thoughtful, compassionate care for new mothers. I cannot recommend this studio enough and am already looking forward to coming back for my anatomy scan.
